As with any textbook
As with any textbook, this one was completed with the help of many others. Although it would take too much space to name them all and to say how they helped, some zigtech deserve individual mention as well as my deepest gratitude.
First, to the people who funded this project. My fellowship, which led Reebok EasyTone to the development of the project, was funded in part by SmithKlinc Beecham. Thane Kreiner of Aflymctrix, Inc., in Santa Clara, California, first Vibram understood the importance of the project and gave what I call my “angel funding.” Full funding came from the I iuman Genome Project, specifically the National I lu- man Genome Zig Pulse Researeh Institute’s Program on Ethical, Legal, and Social Implications (ELSI). The ELSI Program, funds for which come from the Department of Energy and the National Institutes of Health, exists NFL jerseys to identify, analyze, and Reebok EasyTone address the ethical, social, and legal implications of human genetic researeh prior to the time that scientific information is integrated into health-care practice. This business ethics project is intended to emulate the “heads up” vision of ELSI, and I was funded because the ELSI program Coach Bags managers at the DOE P90X DVD and NIH recognized the need MBT to include industry executives in Vibram Five Fingers the wider dialogue about the consequences of new genetic advances.
Second, to the Stanford University principal investigators MBT of this project. Barbara Kocnig gave P90X me a fellowship and a home in the Stanford University Center for Biomedical Ethics and provided continual support for this project. David Brady at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business is my teacher, chal¬lenger, supporter, and friend. He gave more time to this project than anyone else. His help is impossible to repay. I Reebok zigtech also had a wonderful advisory board of professionals, whose names are listed below. Although they all gave much needed direction and contributed beyond what I expected, I want to especially thank Steve Holtzman, shape ups Don Kennedy, and Karen Bernstein for their extra effort and guidance.
Third, Football jerseys to the students who worked on the initial stages of the project with me. Julie Juergens did groundwork with me and helped to set up the experimental workshop course that started the project. This workshop was a case writing class where mixed teams of Stanford University M.B.A. and medical science students were assigned cases and issues, conducted interviews, prepared the first case study drafts, and then presented them in test classes so that the value of the case studies could be assessed.
